Confucianism 

• Confucianism is seen to be both a religion and philosophy. It emphasizes a lot on studying and scholarship, and it provides moral training that is rather religious.  

• Confucius was not very famous during his lifetime, when he died he had 72 disciples and 3000 followers.

• Lu, the province where Confucius was born became an icon of justice of fairness.

• Confucius once said “return malice with justice, but return kindness with kindness.” He taught people “Do not do what you would not want to have done to you.”

• People often dismiss Confucianism as being a simple list of suggestions on how to live a balanced life, because it is so practical.
