You can find Confucianism in society today, primarily in that of China, the birthplace of the religion/philosophy. Chinese government is trying to serve the people and is looking to third and four tier cities in China to develop and reduce the gap that there are between first tier cities and lower tier cities. This emphasizes the importance of relationship and the concept of harmony in Confucianism.
Chinese today are still used to thinking in terms of hierarchy. Authority still plays a large part in China today, this relates to Confucianism, as leadership played a role within the religion/philosophy. Chinese culture gives a considerable amount of reverence for authority and age which again can also relate to the Five Relationships ex: father/son, elder brother/younger brother.
